Technology in classrooms

 Dear Readers (Elementary School),

Computers have a significant role in class, like practicing math and English, researching science, serving as a teaching aid for teachers, and showing art videos. Now, you may have a question: Should there be more technology in the classroom or not? Read on to find out why, why not, and my opinion.

Having more technology in the classroom can be beneficial. One reason is that if students want to become computer engineers, they can learn in advance how to operate computers and understand the do's and don'ts. Another reason why there should be more technology in the classroom is that you can get more information than you can from books. Following that, another reason there should be more technology in the classroom is that it has interactive games that not only help people learn but also make learning fun! Learn, have fun! It’s a win-win! My last and final claim for why there should be more tech in the classroom is that it can help teachers give directions on what the class should do for a specific assignment.

I have opposing claims as well. While technology helps people learn, it can be used too much and can become addictive. Books might no longer be needed, and kids who don’t know how to type may hate using computers. Their handwriting will not improve. Computers can’t talk, so social skills and interaction will be less, and kids won’t make friends.

I vote for having more technology. I don’t mind it being addictive. I just care about getting the research. I have my opinion, so I am waiting for yours. Read the entire passage, think about it, and tell me your opinion.

  Dear grandpa, My 9th birthday is coming up very soon, so in this letter that I am writing to you, I am going to tell you what I wish to do on my 9th birthday. (from morning to evening). How does it work - Maglev Train & Scrap Yards

  Have you ever been on a maglev train or worked in a scrapyard and wondered "How do these things work?" I will write about how maglev and scrap magnets get into action. The maglev trains and scrap magnets work by using electromagnets . The maglev train has U-shaped undercarriage which gets attracted by the track due to magnetism, so the train moves along the rails. There are guidance magnets in the train which include magnetic repulsion; they help direct the train to either left or right, or stop the train from crossing the tracks and falling down. The driver is not the only one driving the train! In fact , there are levitation magnets which have computers controlling them in order to slow down the train, keep it on the track, and move the train.   Dolphins are very intriguing creatures. In this passage, I am going to explore some fascinating facts about dolphins. The first remarkable fact about dolphins is that they are really smart. A dolphin's trainer might use hand signals to represent objects. For example, the trainer would throw a ball into the water and signal, "Is there a ball?" The dolphin would respond with a "yes."
