My country - India

My country is India. From its majestic Himalayan peaks to its serene backwaters of Kerala, India's geographical, cultural, and historical richness beckons travelers from across the globe. The national symbols of India are Mango the National fruit, Banayan tree the National tree, Peacock the National bird, Tiger the National animal, Lotus the National flower, River dolphin the National sea animal, and Hockey is our National sport. Indian flag bears saffron, white, and green colours complemented by navy blue wheel with twenty four spokes in the center. The wheel is known as the Darma chakra. India is a democratic country, where people elect their leaders. People speak different languages and follow different religions therefore India is a testament for unity in diversity. India has 28 states and 8 union territories. India is a peninsula, surrounded by oceans on 3 sides. On the west is the Arabian ocean, on the east is the Bay of Bengal and on the south is the Indian ocean. India’s capital is New Delhi, and my friend Daksh went to New Delhi. I love my country because it offers opportunities to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

  Dear grandpa, My 9th birthday is coming up very soon, so in this letter that I am writing to you, I am going to tell you what I wish to do on my 9th birthday. (from morning to evening). When I wake up in the morning, the first thing  I will do is shout "It's my birthday!" Then I will go brush my teeth like I usually do. Then I will so some chitchatting with my parents for 5-10 mins, and then I wish to head to IHOP (a pancake place) to have breakfast.  After having breakfast, we will go home and I will read a book. In the afternoon, after having lunch which might be paneer and pulav that I'm hoping my Mother will make for me, I wish for my parents to take me to the mall so  I can get a hoverboard, a keychain, a soccer ball, and a LEGO set. How does it work - Maglev Train & Scrap Yards

  Have you ever been on a maglev train or worked in a scrapyard and wondered "How do these things work?" I will write about how maglev and scrap magnets get into action. The maglev trains and scrap magnets work by using electromagnets . The maglev train has U-shaped undercarriage which gets attracted by the track due to magnetism, so the train moves along the rails. There are guidance magnets in the train which include magnetic repulsion; they help direct the train to either left or right, or stop the train from crossing the tracks and falling down. The driver is not the only one driving the train! In fact , there are levitation magnets which have computers controlling them in order to slow down the train, keep it on the track, and move the train. In a scrapyard, there will be a crane with the magnet which picks up car scraps. It also has an iron disc which is armored with an electric coil to pick up the scraps.   Dolphins are very intriguing creatures. In this passage, I am going to explore some fascinating facts about dolphins. The first remarkable fact about dolphins is that they are really smart. A dolphin's trainer might use hand signals to represent objects. For example, the trainer would throw a ball into the water and signal, "Is there a ball?" The dolphin would respond with a "yes." Then, the trainer might point to a broken vase and signal, "Is the vase broken?" The dolphin would answer "no." Dolphins are intelligent enough to remember the hand sign for an unbroken vase and respond correctly.
